About this place
A stunning perennial waterfall on the slopes of the Eastern Ghats near Bissamcuttack, flowing beside the ancient Pataleshwar Shiva temple (Matsya Tirtha). The Wednesday weekly haat here is a vibrant meeting point of the Dongria Kondh community. Best enjoyed after the monsoon when the falls are in full flow.
How to reach
Drive via NH-326 towards Bissamcuttack (about 1.5 hours). Trains to Bissamcuttack station also available; falls are 6 km from the station.
Carry water and keep the spot clean. Network coverage may be weak at remote locations.
