Rayagada's grand Jagannath temple, also known as Sradhha Shrikhetra, was inaugurated in 2007 in the presence of the Gajapati Maharaja of Puri. Its annual Ratha Yatra brings the whole town onto the streets, and the evening aarti is serene year-round.
